Terms and Conditions of Service Policy

 

The following sets forth the terms and conditions under which RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ will perform services on your vehicle:

1. Best Efforts Basis:  

Our services are provided on a best efforts basis – we will not be held responsible in the event that we are unable to clean, remove stains, or otherwise restore any surface, fabric, or condition on your vehicle.  All services listed in our marketing material and on the web are for reference only. It is all based on the condition of your vehicle or special extenuating circumstance.

2. Incidental Damage:  

We are not responsible for any incidental damage that may occur while your vehicle is in our possession, including but not limited to any damage related to pre‐existing conditions (tears, scratches, dents, stains, odors, etc.) damage to automated windshield wiper systems, wiper blades, rear window wipers, loose interior trim or exterior moldings, exterior mirrors, trailer hitch caps, roof racks, power antennas, insignias, aftermarket accessories (bug shields, sun visors), magnetic signage, running boards, hood ornaments, or alloy, chrome or mag wheels, headlights, rear lamps, or reflectors.

3. Additional Charges:  

In the course of rendering services on your vehicle, we may uncover conditions or circumstances that require additional effort or time, and therefore you may incur additional cost to properly complete your vehicle service.  We will make every reasonable effort to notify you in advance of completing the service. However, in the event we are unable to contact you for any reason out of our control, we reserve the right to charge our published hourly rate to complete the work and maintain circulation of our work in process inventory. Our additional charges hourly rate is $80 per hour if applicable.

4. Possessions Left in the Vehicle:  

Our policy is to gather all of the vehicle owners’ belongings that are left in the vehicle and place them in a bag to be provided to the customer when their vehicle service is complete.  Our staff is also trained to remove any loose change from the console area and place it in a plastic bag to facilitate cleaning. We are not responsible for any belongings that may be lost or otherwise disposed of in the course of cleaning your vehicle. We strongly recommend that each customer remove any belongings they consider to be of value before leaving the vehicle with us.

5. Engine Damage Disclaimer:  

Certain detailing services include cleaning of the engine compartment and components. RX3 Mobile Detail, RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ is not responsible for any damage resulting from this service, temporary or otherwise, that may as a result from water interfering with engine function.

6. Wet Sanding:  

Certain detailing services include wet sanding to remove deep scratches in the vehicle’s clear coat finish.  RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ is not responsible of any damage that may result to the painted surface should the sanding process penetrate the clear coat and damage the paint finish. Know however that we only have experience Auto Detail Specialists performing these type of work, so the chances for this happening are very slim. The Detail Specialist will, in most cases, advice you in the event that your car shows a high risk of being damaged from wet sanding.

7. Limit of Liability:  

RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ entire liability for providing services is limited to the invoice amount for the service we provide, except for any damages that result from collisions that take place while the vehicle is in our possession.

8. Coupons, Discounts and Gift Certificates:  

RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ will only honor coupons, discounts, and gift certificates that are presented prior to performing services and only if the coupon hasn’t yet expired.

9. Gratuities:  

For customers whose cars receive detail services, we encourage our generous customers to consider offering a gratuity directly to the staff member who serviced their vehicle.

10. Making a Reservation:

We strongly recommend that you read and agree to all of our terms and conditions prior to making an appointment, making a reservation on the web, or over the phone. If a reservation is made, know that you will be bound by all of our terms and conditions. RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ will try to accommodate all reservations time and date requests, but they are not a guarantee. Our available times and dates are subject to change at any given moment. Once the reservation has been made, you will receive an email with a confirmation number.

11. Pricing Terms:  

Our mobile service requires a minimum of $90 in service charges. All mobile detail packages require additional service fee. The reason for the addition Mobile service fee is due to, gas, time to travel to destination, etc. RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ reserves the right to charge the hourly rate or proportion thereof for any work that is not within the boundaries. A minimum charge of 20% will be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood stains, or any other similar substance. Detailing prices are based on car size as well as the condition of the vehicle. We reserve the right to charge your credit card upon completing your reservation online or over the phone.

12. Cancellations Policy:

We require a 24 hours cancellation notice from the booking date to avoid charges. If you decide to cancel your appointment there is a 10% fee charge of the service cost. 

If the weather is bad and you need to reschedule your appointment there are no cancellation fees IF appointment is rescheduled (rescheduling a detail does not allow for a new 24 hour cancellation window as it creates a loophole) and is subject to soonest availability of the detail professional.

We hold your specific appointment day and time for you and cannot schedule other customers in this window and because of this our cancellation fee is as follows: The cancellation fee for not cancelling up to the 24 hour cancellation window is 25% of your requested detail. In the case that you've requested a rush service, you will also be charged the full rush fee on top of the 25% of the requested detail.

Rush services require us to rearrange our schedule, call in detailers from out of the area, or detailers that are off to accommodate your rush needs, so no refunds are given on the rush fee portion of the detail request. If the detail professional shows up on site and you wish to cancel your detail appointment before the detailer commences upon the work, you'll be charged a 50% cancellation fee for the travel and time involved with the detail professional coming to the primes. If the detail professional commences upon the work and you wish to cancel, you'll be charged the full amount of the detail.

RX3 Car Detailing, RX3 Dent Pro and RX3 Live + Protect℠ reserves the right to reschedule your reservation’s appointment last minute for any reason beyond our control; such as weather condition, equipment failure, etc.
